Management Team
Michael (“Mich”) K. Bayley
President and CEO
Mr. Bayley founded SPExpress in 2002 for the purpose of providing high quality and
cost-effective shipping and logistics solutions and services for companies in the
Southwest and Western United States. He oversees the company's day-to-day operations
from the SPExpress corporate headquarters located in Tucson, Arizona.
Mr. Bayley has over 20 years experience in corporate finance, operating, building
and investing in fast growing companies across multiple industries. Prior to founding
SPExpress, Mr. Bayley was co-founder and CFO of PrimeSource Healthcare, a leading
manufacturer and distributor of specialty medical products in the United States.
As CFO, Mr. Bayley successfully completed a number of debt and equity offerings
and negotiated, acquired and integrated 11 strategic acquisitions including a reverse
merger with a public company. Prior to PrimeSource, Mr. Bayley was a Vice President
with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City. He spent a number of years in Chase’s
Merchant Banking and Private Equity Investment Division where he helped manage several
of the bank’s portfolio companies.
Mr. Bayley was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and graduated with honors from the
University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering. He earned
his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Mr. Bayley may be

Michael B. Heilman
General Manager
Mr. Heilman serves as Director of Business Development for SPExpress. Mr. Heilman
manages and oversees the company’s Business Development activities and works out
of the company's Phoenix, Arizona facility.
Mr. Heilman has extensive experience in transportation and logistics, having held
several management positions with Airborne Express and DHL. Mr. Heilman began his
career in sales with Airborne Express and was promoted to the level of Regional
Manager. He then went to the corporate headquarters of Airborne as Vice President
of Quality and Business Analysis, supporting the company's quality initiatives and
managing an internal consulting and strategy group. More recently, he was Vice President
and General Manager of Airborne Logistics Services, a hub-based storage and fulfillment
operation located in Wilmington, Ohio. After the DHL purchase of Airborne Express,
Mr. Heilman was recruited to build DHL's customer technology capabilities as Vice
President of eCommerce.
Mr. Heilman was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He completed his BA
at Catholic University in Washington, DC, and later earned an MBA at Winthrop University

Karen A. Roberts
Corporate Controller
Ms. Roberts serves as Corporate Controller for SPExpress. Ms. Roberts oversees the
company’s Finance and Human Resources activities and works out of the corporate
headquarters located in Tucson, Arizona.
Ms. Roberts has over 10 years of experience in distribution for manufacturers. During
that time, her experience has covered corporate finance, human resources and information
technology with an emphasis in improving systems and their connectivity. Prior to
joining SPExpress, Ms. Roberts served as Controller of Pratt & Larson Ceramics,
a Portland, Oregon based manufacturer and distributer of handmade Ceramic tile.
Prior to joining Pratt & Larson, she served as Controller of Tommy Boy Music a record
label and joint-venture of AOL Time Warner in New York, New York. In addition, she
held various accounting positions with the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Ms. Roberts was born and raised in Walled Lake, Michigan and graduated with honors
from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration.

David B. Lynch
IT Manager
Mr. Lynch serves as IT Manager for SPExpress. Mr. Lynch has responsibility for all
aspects of the company’s IT and infrastructure within all SPExpress facilities.
Mr. Lynch works out of the company's corporate headquarters in Tucson, Arizona.
Mr. Lynch has been with the organization since inception and has played a key role
in developing the company’s systems and infrastructure to date. Mr. Lynch has extensive
knowledge of WMS 3PL software systems as well as the U.S. Postal Service’s systems
and procedures and serves as the company’s liaison to the U.S. Postal Service. Mr.
Lynch continues to play a key role in shaping SPExpress into customer centric logistics
company by providing clients with customized solutions to meet their varying business
needs.
Mr. Lynch was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He attended the University of Arizona, where he received a bachelor’s degree in

Sonja K. Streich
Director of Market Research Services, Phoenix
Ms. Streich serves as the Director of the Market Research Fulfillment Division for
SPExpress. In addition, Ms. Streich oversees all the company’s Phoenix based operations
and operates out of the company's Phoenix, Arizona facility.
Ms. Streich has over 10 years of experience in the market research industry. She
is an active member of leading organizations such as the Market Research Organization
(MRA), Council of American Survey Research Organization (CASRO) and Postcom, the
Association for Postal Commerce. Prior to joining SPExpress, Ms. Streich served
as a Senior Operations Manager for Kantar Operations, a WPP Company. In her role
at Kantar Operations, Ms. Streich was instrumental in creating and building an internal
and highly specialized market research fulfillment department that supported the
broad and varied needs of WPP's market research activities. Ms. Streich has extensive
experience in designing and providing market research fulfillment activities such
as programming and processing pda's for custom surveys, printing and mailing surveys
and postcard invitations, managing panelists and processing incentives and successfully
placing test products in consumer's homes.
Ms. Streich was born and raised in Payson, Arizona and pursued her education and

Timothy S. Thackrah
Inventory and Quality Assurance Manager
Mr. Thackrah serves as the Inventory and Quality Assurance Manager for SPExpress.
Mr. Thackrah helps oversee the day-to-day operations for all SPExpress facilities.
Mr. Thackrah has co-responsibility for all aspects of the company’s operations and
plays an integral part in developing the business processes, procedures, as well
as systems necessary for SPExpress to provide increasing levels of service to its
customers. Mr. Thackrah works out of the company's corporate headquarters in Tucson,
Arizona.
Mr. Thackrah has been with the organization since its inception and has played a
key role in supporting the company’s rapid expansion, as well as shaping the company’s
operations, Inventory, and Quality Assurance programs, with a customer-focused approach
and a belief in continuous improvement.
Mr. Thackrah was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended the University
of Arizona where he received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management, with

Lisa Dumlao
Customer Service Manager
Ms. Dumlao serves as the Client Services and Support Manager for SPExpress. Ms.
Dumlao manages the company's Client Service Representatives as well as the administrative
staff. Ms. Dumlao works out of the company's corporate headquarters in Tucson, Arizona.
Ms. Dumlao has over 10 years experience in Client Service management. During that
time, her experience has covered Human Resources and Administrative Management,
with an emphasis on team building and motivation. Prior to joining SPExpress, Ms.
Dumlao served as a Customer Service Team Manager in Tucson, Arizona for InfoNxx,
the largest outsourced provider of wireless and wireline enhanced directory services.
Prior to joining InfoNxx, Ms. Dumlao served as an Account Services Team Manager
for Anderson Financial Network in Tucson, Arizona.
Ms. Dumlao was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and has pursued her education
